Assalamualaikum and hai. Today I will explain little bit of Certified Accounting Technician (CAT). If you want to pursue your study in accounting, CAT is one of the study that you should take care about it. CAT is one the short term study course. But you must work in pressure to success. You need to prepare yourself first about this study. You need to good in manage your time and then you need to good in English. You know what. Long ago, I don't even know what ''goods'' mean. Thus you need to prepare yourself first.
In this course. You need to take 9 paper for 1 and 1/2 years. But in UITM shah alam, if you took accounting study in form 4 and form 5. You will get exemption for 2 paper. Thus, you only need to take 7 paper only. Then, you can finish study in 1 year. Actually, it is not easy to study in this course. There are many my friends change to diploma. Because they can't carry this course. But if you take this course and then you fail the paper. Don't give up because you can repeat it again.
The exam for foundation paper is computer based exam, which is you can take any time and the result, you can know immediately after the exam. While for certified paper, for this time it still paper base which is you need to seek the paper on June and December. The result will you know 1 month after your exam. The best thing of CAT is you doesn't need to carry on mark. You can choose to enter for class or self study. And you need to sit for final exam only for every semester.
